Alfold Mono

Alfold Mono is a monospaced serif font family in 9 styles. As part of the complete Alfold font family, featuring Upright, Mono and Semi-Mono subfamilies, it draws inspiration from the fonts found in the 1936 issue of the Alfold magazine from Subotica. Stylistically, Alfold opts for a toned-down, neutral look that is complimented by the straightforward character structure, tight spacing, and high versatility across all three subfamilies.

The Alfold Mono subfamily is designed as a monospaced counterpart to the Upright family, intended for more experimental design scenarios where the unmistakable monospaced aesthetic becomes a deliberate stylistic choice. Alfold Mono retains the visual character of the Alfold type family while preserving full monospaced functionality. This makes it equally capable of handling both creative design projects and more utilitarian applications where legibility takes precedence.

Alfold Mono works seamlessly alongside the Upright subfamily, or as a standalone family. It features 9 styles and a variable font, each with a character set of 560+ glyphs, along with a selection of OpenType features including stylistic alternates, fractions, and case-sensitive forms, for precise typographic control.
