Oktah Neue
Oktah Neue is a geometric sans serif font family released in 2019, building on the foundation of the more restrictive Oktah family. Featuring excellent legibility and clean, minimalist font design, Oktah Neue inherits the best traits of its predecessor: simple geometric letterforms, low contrast across all styles, and outstanding functionality. At the same time, it introduces what Oktah fell short of: extensive language support, enhanced OpenType features, and greater versatility for modern design needs.
Oktah Neue is available in 22 static fonts ranging from Thin to Black, as well as a Variable Font, offering designers unmatched flexibility. While the familiar shapes of Oktah remain at its core, several characters were carefully reworked to ensure neutrality and adaptability, without sacrificing the unique character of the typeface. This makes Oktah Neue the definition of a workhorse type family, ideal for use in web design, mobile apps, graphic design, and branding projects.
The typeface’s neutral and minimalist style ensures it stands out naturally while maintaining a clean and professional character. Thanks to its legibility across all point sizes, Oktah Neue excels as both a bold font for headlines and a reliable tool for detailed typographic work. With support for a wide range of languages and robust OpenType features, Oktah Neue continues to set the standard as a versatile and functional choice for designers and typographers.
