History

Groteskly Yours Studio (GYS) is a type foundry based in Belgrade, Serbia. What began as a collaborative project between Eugene and Anna in 2019 has since evolved into a multi-faceted type studio with a global network of collaborators, clients, and friends. As a family-owned studio, we deeply value openness and collaboration, both within our studio and with all of our clients.

At GYS, we believe that good typography is essential. A carefully crafted custom typeface can elevate the message, adding structure and order to any design system, while making it feel fresh and engaging. We understand that type is an integral part of modern branding and communication, and we're happy to help designers and brands elevate their typography with our fonts.

We approach each project with an open mind, eager to make every typeface unique. At GYS, we develop bespoke and retail typefaces, as well as offer unique and extensive customization services which allow our customers to fine-tune any existing type from our collection to be a perfect fit for their project.
